The beautiful Columbia River Gorge has been my playground for the last 13 years. A wonderful place for hiking, mountain biking, camping, backpacking, and other outdoor recreation.
When I first moved to the Portland/Vancouver area from Kalispell, Montana, I wasn’t sure I’d like it. Then I made a few friends and we went to Beacon Rock. I was hooked.
I want to share a bit of that with you today. In this SlideShare presentation, you’ll get a look at some of the dozens of Columbia River Gorge hikes that I’ve been on.
If you ever travel to Portland, Oregon drive 15 minutes East on HWY 84 and you’ll see why the Gorge is a National Scenic Area.
