Today’s photo is from my day trip to Sanibel Island while I was working in Fort Myers, Florida last year.
After getting over the shock of a $6 toll to get on the island (we don’t have such nonsense in the Northwest), I proceeded through town following signs until I found “Beach Parking”.
Despite being a touristy area, the beach wasn’t overly crowded like Bonita Beach. It still held that relaxing quality all good beaches have.
Until, I was standing knee deep in the ocean after a swim and noticed that I was surrounded by three roughly four-foot long sharks!
Another week of work is complete and that means it’s time to get outside and explore.
