Photo Friday #14: Triple Falls

Photo Friday #14: Triple Falls

The Columbia River Gorge holds many gems for adventurers. Among them is Triple Falls, one of my favorite day hikes in the Gorge.

Starting out, the Oneonta Trail is a fairly steep series of switchbacks that eventually mellows out. You get a good mix of river valley views and beautiful scenery along the trail itself. Specifically, you’ll come across several waterfalls, one of which you get to walk underneath. Another highlight is looking down on Oneonta Gorge winding its way toward the Columbia River.
