Early Tuesday morning, June 11th, I’ll be boarding a plane for the first leg of my flight to South Korea.
I’ll be spending a year teaching English in Suwon, South Korea, which is about an hour south of Seoul. I’ve written before about finding jobs like Indiana Jones that support your interests. Teaching overseas is something I’ve been planning to do for a while and this is me putting my own advice into action.
This trip is one of many steps in my Quest for Adventure. Not only will I be trying a new job – teaching – but I’ll also be living overseas which is one of the goals on my quest.
Most importantly, South Korea has a lot of hiking and mountain biking trails. I’m pretty excited about exploring the country.
I’m not entirely sure how long it will take to get internet service so there may not be any updates for a while.
If you have any tips about living or traveling around South Korea, please let me know in the comments.
